 All products are hand made by David Grace.My current main product is table lamp bases as seen elsewhere on this site. These are ready to buy, but I also accept commissions for bespoke lamp-bases and for hand-made bespoke furniture. Traditional carpentry methods are employed, and customers can choose either old fashioned or modern designs in solid English hardwoods or rare imported "exotic" timbers from sustainable sources. Any type of furniture can be made (please see portfolio displayed), but table lamps and coffee-tables are a speciality. Customers are welcome to commission work with their own designs, dimensions and timber(s) of choice. Why commission a piece of carpentry work? You could purchase a factory made generic design in a furniture store or any number of retail outlets. By commissioning a bespoke design however, you will possess a unique object with the satisfaction of having been involved in the planning, construction, design, colour/timber choices and finish. Even if you buy "off the shelf", the product will be a unique and original design by David Grace, no two pieces being identical.
