A bespoke piece of
woodwork or furniture is a unique product, hand-made, and of totally
original design. You may want it for yourself, or as a special gift
for someone. As a "one-off" piece of work, it inevitably attracts a
high price compared to what is sold in high street outlets. If you would like to commission something special, please telephone 0208 360 4219, and discuss your personal requirements with David. You will need to consider the following; sizes, timbers, design, construction methods (Eg. joints etc) and choice of finish. You will be given an estimate of the total cost of the article, and the time taken for completion. There is no cost whatsoever for planning/estimates. Once the commission has been accepted and agreed, you would be expected to pay a deposit in advance of 50% of the total cost before work commences.
